This 1968 Cougar underwent an awesome transformation, ’68 Cougar was a very nice car to start with, it was restored back to a stock appearing car number of years ago. The owner was tired of the Grandma green and in his words “boring” look of the car. We started by shaving off the marker lights on the fenders and removing the rocker panel trim to give the car a smoother look. The next thing we changed was the wheels, we painted the centers a gun metal grey color to give them a more up to date look. The hood scoop was slightly modified and the interior was changed to a suede and vinyl combo. Last but not least the owner choose to go with a Two Tone paint scheme with the top color being a very dark red metallic and the bottom a bright candy red. The graphic break for the two tone is something we came up with to add to the cars new aggressive look. Picking a build style and a color scheme and sticking with it are what really make this car stand out and look Fantastic!
