This Sport Truck Chevy Colorado Roll Pan Install was titled Bumper Be Gone, this tech article is from the October 2006 issue of Sport Truck Magazine. In the article we show step by step how to install a custom roll pan on a Chevy Colorado. When we first built this truck there were no after market parts available,so we made our own roll pan by modifying a roll pan for a Chevy S-10. It wasn’t until a couple of years later that companies started making ready to install parts for these trucks. The Colorado in the article was our very own shop truck that we built back in 2004. This truck has been the subject of numerous tech articles and has been on the cover of three different magazines. We built this 2004 Chevy Colorado back in 2003. Yes 2003 we picked it up form the dealership and immediately started cutting up this brand new truck. At the time the Colorado was the replacement for the discontinued S-10 and no one had seen one yet, stock or otherwise when we first started taking it to shows. This Colorado was the first of its kind to be customized. This truck features a full custom chassis build, custom paint, full custom interior, Magna Flow Exhaust system, custom grille and full Ride Tech Suspension.
