Do You Do Mechanical Work?

Mechanical Work on a 1957 Chevy Truck

Do you do mechanical work?

We get asked this a lot. Everyone sees that we are a restoration shop & it seems obvious that we perform a lot of paint & body work. What most people don’t know is that we also perform a lot of mechanical work. Not only as part of a complete restoration/build, but we also help many collectors that are looking to maintain and upkeep their vehicle or vehicles. We have our very own restoration mechanic in shop, that way you or I don’t have to worry about sending your vehicle to a bunch of different shops to have different parts of the build or repairs completed. Whether it’s a complete build / restoration or upgrades / repairs to an already completed vehicle we are able to install or service all of your vehicles systems If it is something outside or our areas of expertise, we work with a variety of specialty shops that we trust to work on your vehicle.  Also you can rest easy to knowing that you vehicle is in an environment where it will be treated with the care and attention it deserves.  The other thing we get asked a lot is.

Do you only do stock restorations or full builds ?

No, we don’t just only perform stock restorations! We are both a restoration and custom shop, we will happily take on both types of builds. We also don’t just take on full builds we don’t limit ourselves to just full builds. What does this really mean? It means that we will work with a client to provide them with the scope services they want. All of our clients are different, some will have us complete a build from beginning to end, others will have us only perform the body and paint work & we deliver them a “roller” that they will complete on their own because they are capable of completing it or they have other shops they work with for the other aspects of the build. Many of our clients have never had us or anyone “build” a car for them. They are collectors that will buy already completed cars & we simply perform repairs and maintenance for them. Other clients are looking to make upgrades to their vehicles either for aesthetic or safety, not every project has to be a frame off restoration or extreme custom build.

We hear from some of our clients and potential clients that they didn’t consider us because they thought we were only a restoration or only a custom shop or that we wouldn’t want to work on their car because of the build style or it wasn’t a full build and they needed repairs. The projects that come through our shop are just a diverse as their owners, we work with a lot of different people and everyone has different likes or tastes. They also have different budgets and abilities. We work very hard to form a relationship with each of our clients to provide them with the scope and quality of service that they expect and can afford.
